Secure your account with 2FA

Enabling Two-Factor Authentication

  1. Navigate to Settings → Security
  2. Click Enable 2FA
  3. Choose your 2FA method (see below)
  4. Follow the setup instructions
  5. Save your recovery codes in a safe place

2FA Methods

Authenticator App (Recommended)

Use apps like Google Authenticator, Authy, or 1Password:

  1. Scan the QR code with your authenticator app
  2. Enter the 6-digit code to verify
  3. Save recovery codes

SMS Verification

Receive codes via text message:

  1. Enter your mobile phone number
  2. Verify with the code sent to your phone

Security Keys (U2F/WebAuthn)

Use hardware security keys like YubiKey:

  1. Insert your security key
  2. Follow your browser's prompts
  3. Register the key

Recovery Codes

Recovery codes allow you to access your account if you lose your 2FA device. Each code can only be used once.

Disabling 2FA

To disable 2FA, you'll need to verify your identity with your current 2FA method or use a recovery code.
